    Launching First Urban Development today
     
    Forum is organized in cooperation with the University of Dammam; targeting businessmen and real estate specialists in the region and Kingdom.
     
    More than 70 speakers and 30 scientific papers and 11 meetings over three days

     

    First Urban Development  Forum entitled "Real estate development and Permanent housing" launched today Monday, October 25, 2010 Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Mansour bin Muteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and lasts for three days to bring out a document for the national urban development by proposing 30 scientific papers dealing with themes of diverse concepts of the real estate d and housing development as two  major components of the urban development.,each session includes a presentation in addition to a discussion period about the theme of each session.

    In the main session for the first day, chaired by the Dammam University for high education and Scientific Research Dr. Abdulaziz Saati, under the title (Sustainability in architecture and urban development) through which each of Dr.Rabie Mohammad Refat from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals for  speaks about(Architecture and its role the real estate development future), and dr. Mahbur Rahman from the University of Malaysia and Dr. Ahmad Abu Al Hija from Philadelphia University in Jordan, and Dr Ahmed Yahia from the Federal College of Education.
     
    The second session entitled (The role of public and private institutions in sustainable urban development) headed by the Under-Secretariat of Eastern region of Municipal Affairs Eng. Shujaa Al Mosleh.
     
    As for the second day ,main session is headed by Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Designs in King Fahd Petroleum and Minerals University, Dr.. Abdulaziz Bubshait and dealing with (Development of real estate education .. global and dimensions).
     
    Meanwhile, first session of the second day will address the title (sustainable real estate development at the strategic level), where each of the Dr. Ibrahim Nuebyat, and Professor Hajeera Saudi (from Mesna University in Algeria) presents a critical examination of the development of real estate through a variety of housing programs in Algeria.

    The second session of the second day also deals with the subject (Real estate development at the level of urban planning).
     
    In the third session of the second day entitled (Real estate development at the level of materials and construction techniques). Followed by  review of a practical experience carrying the title (Sustainable real estate development .... experience of DOHALAND company in the development of Doha) introduced by the Eng. Essa Al Mohannadi.
     
    After this lecture, the attendees will visit the  Aqiri historic port, where a dinner will be held in honor of the Secretariat of Al-Ahsa Province.
    On the third day, the main session is addresses the topic (Future vision of the real estate sector in Saudi Arabia) in which the Professor Lami Mahjoubi professor at the University of the West in England takes part in it.
     
    For the third day ,first session addressing the title (Laws and regulations in the process of real estate development), chaired by the Under-Secretariat of Eastern region for the municipalities Eng.Shujaa Al Mosleh, and speaks through Dr. Jalloul Zenati (Chairman of the Technical Service in Dar Al-Shyoukh in Algeria on (The legislation reconstruction and real estate development in Algeria), also Dr. Kandoor Monir Al Zaman from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Dammam on the (Polices of legislation to rein in the real estate sector: towards sustainable urban development in Dhaka, Bangladesh)..
     
     
    Also Dr. Ping Akspa (University of Hoz Hwang's science and Technology in China) speaks about the (Research in behavior ) followed by presentations of the two experiments presented by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Hassan Bin Fadil Aqil about (Real estate development and sales on the map), and the other by the Director of Strategic Planning in Dammam Municipality Eng.Ali bin Mohammed Al Sawat on the (Use of engineering processes and procedures for residential licenes as an incentive for real estate development in Dammam).
     

    In the third session of the final day,two sessions will be held only discussing the topic (The economics of real estate development), chaired by a member of the Real Estate Committee in the chamber Dr. Bassam Bodi followed by a review of a practical experience of Funding Options for Kuwait Bank, and the issues faced by the real estate sector introduced by Hamed Al Al Qahtani, concluded by an open discussion and then view the recommendations of the forum.
